Mock Objects in Automated Unit Tests |
|
Description |
This presentation gives an introduction to the
concepts around creating mock objects for use in
automated unit tests. An overview of the theory around
mocking is given, but the emphasis is on practical uses
of the technique. The moq framework is used, and is
compared to hand-crafted mocks or not using mocks at
all. The presentation also touches on inversion of
control / dependency injection and how those patterns
allow for the injection of mock objects into tests.
